It has become our treat after I give blood for my knee replacements...
I like the yogurt, but I'm not looking forward to the operation @
7:30am on April 15th. I have to stay in the hospital somewhere
between 4 to 11 days to make sure I can walk up the stairs at home.
So the yogurt is a real treat from Sonia to me right now. I think she
likes to see me smile more than cry in pain...
But I think she'll bring some to me while I'm at the hospital...
Knees in the permanent athletic position here...ready for some serious moves...I must have been hurting this day considering how the knees don't look like I can get them straight. That will all be over April 15th! I will be able to get them straight and get my height back...I have been getting shorter the last couple of years while the knees tried to get into the permanent athletic position.
So I am part way there...now I just have to learn how to golf...we are at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas.

Well, may a little more. The side walk is where we drive the golf cart at Wolf Creek golf Course in Mesquite.
I look goofy, but the scenery behind me pretty much tells you what the golf course looks like for 18 windy holes up and down hills...don't worry about the guy behind me...he is from New Mexico and we met them when they played golf with Rick and me.
Kind of hard to believe isn't it? It pretty much looks likes this for 18 holes and windy....
Joyce is a movie star and she did not want anybody to recognize her....the disguise didn't work...we knew who she was and asked her for this picture. The handsome guy with her is the guy that beats me like a drum playing golf and her husband, Rick, for some SIGNIFICANT number of years. She might get angry with me with I say how many years here in the ole blog, but the number of years are getting close to Sonia's age...tee hee
I wonder if they got any M&Ms? Looks to me like they are having fun....
We are about a 100 or so feet above the beach here on the 5th hole at Pacific Dunes. It was a beautiful Monday March 10 2008 when we were playing this course.
This is my favorite caddie at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. His caddie name is Unibomber, but we call him Bomber. He has been my caddie for the last five years at Bandon. He is a character and very fun to play golf with...he makes the trip up to Bandon fun. As you can see from the picture we did not see much sun this day...kind of a common day in raining Oregon. We were playing Bandon Trails when we took this picture.
Here I am by our weekend house on TPC Summerlin GC in Las Vegas...Sonia really enjoys the time we spend at it a once every year or so...I still look pretty goofy!
I might look really goofy, but I sure like to go golfing and hopefully someday I will learn how to hit the golf ball...this is playing at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas on March 7 2008 with Rick Thau. It was a private club that our pro at Lake Merced got Rick and I on. They hold a PGA event at this course in the fall called the Fry's Open or something like that...
This is my golfing buddy Rick Thau...he likes to go golfing with me since he can beat me all the time...
