Knees- Various Views May 30 2008 Check-up

Yes, these are Larry's new knees.  We were told that the stem is about 4" long. OUCH.  The "knee" is held in place by screws and cement.  They were nice to clean up the knee cap to make it pretty in its new home. 

Here's Larry showing off his cute butt.  Look how straight he's standing.  He doesn't need to drag his knuckles anymore...

Here's a top side view of Larry's new knees.  The knee caps, patella, the fuzzy things are in their new home.  The large bulbous things are what set off the TSA machines - yes, those are the new knees.  And they are titanium.

..they don't look like pirate scars...darn!

there is not much scarring from the replacement of my knees. I have
to massage the scars regularly to break up the scar tissue that forms.

I wanted scars that make me look like a pirate, but it looks like they
are going to be wimpy little scars that no self-respecting pirate would be
proud to have...drat...grrr!

...she loves frozen yogurt (Pink Berry, Yogurt Bar and Tuttimelon) and
coffee latte's and then me (I think I'm 3rd, could be lower than
shopping).....

...yup again...I think she believes it makes knees heal faster

I'm not going to tell her....I like the yogurt too
