Hard to believe they look this good in 3 1/2 mths. I'm lucky that they
are healing very well and what seems very quickly. I still have lots
of hurting (mainly aches and once in a while sharp painds) but the
meds help me control the pain. I'm doing an hour of cardio each
morning on either the stationary bike or elipical machine plus
stretching. I'm playing 3 to 4 rounds of golf per week ( I can't walk
and carry my bag until my knees don't hurt going downstairs) and it
feels good to be able to play again...just lots of aches starting
about the 10th hole and continuing well after the round is over. I
work out with my personal trainer 3 times per week making sure we
strengthen my quads and hamstrings. I think all of this activity has
helped me to get my knees back to being heathly quickly.. I'm
extremely lucky plus having Sonia to take care of me and push me to
exercise hard has been incredibly great. The docter tells me I will
have the knees pains for up to a year while they are healing. one
good side to all of this is I sleep well every night plus 4 to 5 hours
most days. I'm sure it is the meds. The doctor said it is good that
I'm sleeping that much...Sonia thinks I'm a bear hibernating.
