The baby elephant from the Portland Zoo

If you remember our past post from Portland, the baby elephant was born whilst we were in Portland. Well, miss obsession here has been trying to get pictures and information on this little fella. He was "introduced" to the public this weekend. And we didn't have to wait for 2 hours.

we had a nice dinner with mom and got this nice pix of them

but we will get them before you come to visit! for now Sonia and I
will wave for you...looking forward to our NYC visit...sure hope the
weather is as nice as it is here this week

we are at the wedding reception and as you can see the wife is

....one of two great days a year in Portland and we are here. we are
on the way to the Saturday market. fun little place.

Sonia's birthday was a nice day for both of with an incredible dinner
at 3 Doors Down in a hippy area of Portland. Afterwards we went to a
little soirée with sonia's old Pilates teacher who moved back to
Oregon to get some rain.

The wedding is this afternoon at 5pm and the partay is at 6pm

...after heavy duty shopping...

the birthday girl needed to stop for a Jones Cup Cake in the Pearl
District of Portland Oregon.
